This role offers £26,000 - £28,000pa for reduced hours, with no reduction in salary!

The Burford Recruitment Company are working in partnership with a successful small business who are looking to add a diligent and capable Office & Finance Assistant to their busy and friendly team, located in the beautiful Cotswold countryside nr Burford.

This role would suit someone who has previous experience working in a finance/accounts role and enjoys the variety of dealing with additional ad hoc administrative tasks as and when required. If however, you don't have finance experience but you are a strong administrator who picks up new tasks quickly then we would also love to hear from you!

Your duties would include;

· First point of contact for customers & suppliers, taking calls and handling emails.

· Purchase ledger - processing of supplier invoices

· Managing the supplier accounts; actively resolving any queries

· Sales ledger - managing the timely receipt of payments

· Credit Control – managing the debtors and securing receipts on time

· Administrative support to the wider team

The ideal candidate will have strong literacy and numerical skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and complete work to a high standard. An AAT qualification (or similar) would be beneficial as would experience of using Xero, although training is offered.

· Monday to Thursday 9am - 4pm and 9am to 1pm on a Friday

· Salary 26 -28k

· Due to the rural area your own transport is essential
