We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our progressive team at Waverley Vets. This is a maternity cover role working 3 days a week and 1:4 Saturday mornings, with no OOH. We strive to provide a high standard of care to our patients and have a fabulous team who support each other with cases. We have 15- minute appointments which allow us to work up cases and bond with our clients.
Waverley Vets are a friendly and supportive small animal practice based in a beautiful part of Surrey with good connections to the South Coast and London. We have a team of experienced small animal vets who support each other by discussing cases and a fabulous team of qualified nurses. We have an array of wonderful equipment, to name a few, an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray equipment, dental x-rays, laser, and ultrasound. We encourage case continuity and as a result we provide the opportunity for you to work up your cases.
We are an experienced team made up of 4 veterinary surgeons, 6 veterinary nurses along with animal care assistants and reception staff. The team has a family feel and we have a supportive and encouraging ethos and identify the strengths in our team and truly invest in them. There is always someone to talk to and tea and biscuits in abundant supply!
We are looking for an enthusiastic small animal vet with a positive can do attitude who likes to work as part of a team. Ideally someone who is confident with routine surgery, consulting and enjoys working up cases. Good communication skills are essential.
