Whitworth Chemists Ltd is currently recruiting a Non-Pharmacist Manager for our Barnoldswick Pharmacy.
As a Non-Pharmacist Manager, you would ensure that the branch provides excellent patient care and customer service to all patients, customers and health care professionals using Whitworth for a variety of functions.
You would support and develop the branch team and yourself so that excellent service is provided.
Role Responsibilities and Duties
· Balance the required workload of systems and people management with workload required as a dispenser/technician.
· Manage time, team members and systems to make most efficient use of resources and provide excellent service.
· Develop and support other team members to ensure excellent service provision and compliance with company policies.
· Ensure that accurate patient medication records and dispensing records are kept.
· Reduce risks associated with dispensing while continuously improving service levels.
· Ensuring stock is managed appropriately, this will include: ordering from appropriate and authorised suppliers, managing ordering to minimise out of date products, monitoring product usage figures and receiving orders.
· Ensure cash handling banking and security procedures are followed diligently
· Ensure that prescription, contractual and company documentation is maintained and stored appropriately in accordance with policy
· Administrative duties will include answering telephones, receiving stock, completing required data gathering and ensuring the pharmacy is kept clean and tidy, maintaining a professional image at all times. Health & Safety
· Be pro-active in developing new initiatives in the pharmacy.
