FTC Contract -6 Months

Summary of the role:

Supporting Marketing Director and Senior Manager on providing key market information across D+ & Content Sales

Content Sales Marketing

  • Support the sales team with various marketing activities from event management to pitch documents.
  • Client in-territory support (from DMDC new user request to supporting on campaigns)
  • Management of positioning and key messaging across branded content with broadcast partners
  • Providing advisory emails from the US, flagging new titles to the content sales & D+ team
  • Manage and present on the monthly content briefing call for GE titles
  • Manage team coordinator ensuring tasks are being met and team moral remains high
  • Support the Senior Marketing Manager in developing a roadmap that encompasses the key activities and opportunities between key clients and Disney, working with the various lines of business to understand key initiatives and priorities
  • Managing key initiative- D&I , Factual and Disney 100th
  • Managing Oscars Activity
  • Management of regular content screenings with support of the coordinator
  • Manage Merchandise with support of Intern
  • Some budgetary responsibility

Disney+ Creative Services

  • Work closely with the Disney+ teams both in the US and across EMEA, providing support and guidance as content experts of the General Entertainment & UK Origionals portfolio
  • Review bespoke social creative and concepts
  • Provide approvals on concepts and creative for range and brand campaigns, performance campaigns and partnership campaigns for titles across EMEA territories
  • Please note that that territory cluster groupings are subject to change and a high degree of flexibility is expected.

Experience and Professional Qualifications Required

  • Experience within marketing or similar role
  • Proven experience within Marketing, specifically working with multi-platform broadcast/digital clients
  • Previous experience in a B2B TV/Film marketing/media environment essential
  • Passion for the TV/Film/Entertainment industry
  • Experience of managing external creative/design/marketing agencies

Skills Required

  • Evidence of excellent IT skills – particularly PowerPoint, Excel & Word
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Good understanding of commercial marketing and creative process
  • A high level of accuracy, creativity and enthusiasm
  • Excellent time management skills with an ability to prioritise and work under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a good flexible approach
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills, demonstrating the ability to provide and share information clearly and concisely
  • Some experience in Photoshop is desirable
