Job Description

Domiciliary Care Agency- Phoenix Care is looking to recruit health care assistants, to assist the elderly in their own homes. Flexible working shifts, drivers preferable due to travelling distances. Applicants must be able to deliver person-centred care, to provide choice, dignity, and promote independence.
We require a dedicated and conscientious care assistant to join our friendly team on a full/part-time basis. We're seeking a caring and compassionate individual who enjoys interacting with the elderly and assisting them with their daily living activities. Candidates must be warm and friendly, with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a genuine passion for providing our service users with high quality care and support. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, well-organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Proven experience in working with the elderly, in either a paid or voluntary capacity, is desirable for this role.
Examples of Care Assistant responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting.
Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linen, washing dishes and clothes.
Assist in the transferring, repositioning and movement of clients.
Observe, monitor and record clients' physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to senior staff.
Full and part time hours are available.
No experience is needed as full training is provided.
Mileage paid per mile.
Free uniforms provided.
Up to 28 days paid holiday per annum
Monthly pay
Great Rates of Pay, with enhancements on weekends
Double time paid on Bank Holidays.
