The successful applicant will provide leadership and management of Geography in order to secure high quality teaching by all staff within the department. You will use your skills and experience to ensure the effective use of resources and the improvement of standards of learning and achievement of all pupils.

Professional development opportunities are plentiful and we are always working hard to be innovative around workload- we want you to have a balanced life and enjoy working with our children! We have really strong supportive policies on feedback, reporting, centralised planning and behaviour for learning (including centralised detentions) that allow you to focus on planning and teaching excellent lessons.
Alongside this we have a clear approach to teaching and learning which is supported by our Instructional Coaching programme. This is captured in the north Walsham Approach to Teaching.
