Job Description

Graduate/Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Location: Manchester

Salary: 22k (OTE 40k Year 1)

Package including private healthcare, generous commission & Incentives, car allowance

Are you a recent graduate or sales person who is looking for a career where you can be in complete control of your earning potential, career progression & have full autonomy over your role on a day to day basis? If so, recruitment could well be the career for you.

We work with some of Manchester's finest recruitment agencies who specialise in a range of sectors including Accountancy & Finance, Construction, Cyber security, Education, Energy & renewables, Engineering, Environmental, FMCG, Healthcare, HR, Industrial & logistics, IT, Manufacturing, Medical Devices/Tech, Pharmaceutical & social care.

The role:

  • Use a range of Business development techniques to bring on new clients, and grow existing accounts
  • Build strong relationships with clients to understand their hiring needs and strategies
  • Create job adverts to attract the right candidates
  • Headhunt candidates using a range of techniques including the best Artificial Intelligence software
  • Build trust and long lasting relationships with candidates to provide a high quality recruitment service
  • Be able to manage multiple recruitment processes from start to finish ensuring you are organised and thorough

You must have excellent organisational skills as you will be working on multiple roles at the same time. Each role will be at different stages in the process so it's important to be able to be organised and in control. You will have to have difficult conversations with both clients & candidates at times, so it's important you can think on your feet and be calm under pressure.

Along with a very competitive starting salary, the commission which goes up to 35% is very achievable and can change your life.

Other incentives including days out to the races, monthly lunch clubs, quarterly trips abroad & extra financial incentives are all easily achievable with the right attitude, hard work and drive. Car allowances & private healthcare are also available with extra targets, and on completion of probation periods.

All this wouldn't be achievable without some of the best training in the business. You will find a dedicated Learning & development manager on hand to provide you with all the training you need, as well as a line manager and peers who all have invaluable experience which they can share.

Progression plans are in place from day 1, so you know exactly what you need to do for that promotion to Senior, and then on to principle, and then into a management or director role.

It's a challenging but amazingly rewarding career, where no day is ever the same. The opportunities are endless and it's all in your control.
