Customer Service Advisor - Business Banking Department

Start Date: 12th June 2023

Location: Within our Manchester City Centre office, work from home, agile or hybrid after training period

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full-Time - 35, 37.5 or 40 hour contracts available

Salary: £21,000 - £24,000 plus annual bonus, 27 days increasing to 30 days plus bank holidays and a fantastic range of benefits

You will also receive enhanced pay (up to £288) on top of your basic salary for working on a weekend

What we can offer you:

  • Flexible working patterns 35, 37.5 or 40 hour week contracts available

About the role:

If you want to join an award winning team delivering professional service to our business customers then this role is for you. Our Business Banking Team proactively build relationships with customers over the telephone, ensuring all their business needs are met, taking personal responsibility to manage customers through their business operations with professionalism and integrity. They ensure adherence to all the relevant process and procedures and seek out opportunities to generate leads for other colleagues.


Knowledge, skills and experience required:

  • A resilient and unwavering customer focus
  • Experience of handling and responding to standard and complex enquiries through to resolution
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Computer literate, with the ability to navigate confidently and quickly around multiple systems whilst speaking to customers over the telephone
