Job Description

Responsibilities

Ensuring all premium payment warranties are settled
Terms and conditions or extensions are requested where necessary
Ensuring all other premiums are settled in a timely manner
Reconciliation of balances, including liaison with operating divisions within team and with client accounts staff, as well as direct communication with Exchanging and/or underwriters to resolve accounting queries and to identify unallocated cash
Allocation of cash receipts and payments against ledger transactions in a timely manner
Maintenance of a record of reasons for existence of aged balances
Escalation of unresolved aged balances to Assistant Manager / Manager and/or relevant Technical/Broking staff

Requirements

Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Experience of working within credit control
Experience of dealing with reconciliation of balances previously
Able to prioritise workload when working with high volumes
Strong oral and written communication skills
Competent use of Microsoft office
Previous experience within Insurance is preferable but not essential
