Job Description

The successful Bookkeeper will be responsible for classic Bookkeeping responsibilities, such as...

• Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger
• VAT
• Liaising with clients
• Dealing with queries
• Assisting with finance / accounting duties
• Reconciliations
• Any ad-hoc duties that may be required

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will need...

• To have worked in practice in a bookkeeping style role
• To have working and up-to-date knowledge of VAT
• Have good understanding and experience with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks etc
• To have excellent English, both oral and written
• To be able to commute to the Newbury area, potentially 5 days a week
