Job Description

Our audience is important to us and so is our talent, and so we’re holding an open evening in our Manchester office on Thursday 13th April for people who are passionate about social media in their personal and professional lives, love content (viral trends, trending stories and latest news) and want to grow their careers at LADbible Group.

The role of a Social Editor is to:

  • Proactively research and find the latest news, viral trends and reports
  • Spot a story that our audience would love to watch or hear about
  • Collaborate with others on ideas, working as a team to develop concepts
  • Schedule and post content via Facebook
  • Work across a 7-day rota and cover live events as they happen
  • Package articles: creating captions, titles and thumbnails that generate traffic
  • Regularly monitor insights using social media analysis tools, and review and report on effectiveness to maximise results

We'd like to hear from you if you have:

  • A passion for social media and storytelling with an understanding of Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Reddit and other social media channels
  • Knowledge and passion for trending news
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills

We'd also like to hear from you if you have experience within this space, although this isn't a pre-requisite. You will have:

  • Worked in a target driven, fast moving social media company or publisher
  • Experience growing new and exciting social platforms
  • Used Adobe, including Photoshop

This role isn’t just about what you’ve done, but also who you are and so as part of the application process, we’d love you to complete a short task to show us what you’re made of.

The application deadline is Friday 31st March and successful applicants will be contacted week commencing 3rd April. Please keep in mind that the open evening will take place in our Manchester office on Thursday 13th April between 6 – 8pm.

At LADbible Group we've rolled out blended working which means the majority of departments across the business (including London, Manchester and International offices) work from home and the offices on a weekly basis.

LADbible Group is an equal opportunities employer. We are determined to create a diverse group at all levels of our company and we welcome all members of the community to apply for openings with us. As the leading social youth publisher, we have a powerful global platform to better represent our audience and enable those that do not have equal opportunities, to have their voices heard. As a business, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce, in an environment where everyone feels comfortable to be themselves.
