Job Description

Position: Service Change Project Manager - NHS Redevelopment Project

We are looking for a highly experienced Service Change Project Manager to join our team and take the lead on a major £50 million NHS redevelopment project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple workstreams and internal customers and ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the business case for the NHS redevelopment project, including budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, and risk assessments.
  • Lead and manage the project team, ensuring that all workstreams are coordinated and delivering to schedule.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively taking corrective action to ensure that the project stays on track.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior stakeholders and making recommendations for any necessary changes to the project plan.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards, and that all relevant regulatory and governance requirements are met.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in project management, preferably within the healthcare sector and construction or facilities management
  • Strong general project management skills, including project planning, risk management, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience of managing complex, multi-workstream projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Experience of managing business cases and financial budgets for large-scale projects.
