A key client of ours is looking for a contract Manufacturing Engineer to join its team following a large period of growth. Manufacturing Engineer duties include -

  • Work on new equipment delivery release within the Production Engineering function.
  • Liaise and support projects, customer teams, and local manufacturing teams.
  • Ensure that plant equipment is aligned to the required specification, is safe to use, and meets the plant layout and the production schedules agreed upon.
  • Manage any SAP requirements, Bills of material accuracy, time studies, Engineering Changes, and improvements to support any SOPs.
  • Review PFMEA's, including matching up with control plans, and lineside RFMEA involvement.

Manufacturing Engineer desirable skills and experience -

  • Relevant experience within the Automotive sector.
  • Ability to demonstrate the use of tools such as PFMEA, VSM, and Process Flow.
  • Mechanical education (HNC/HND) / relevant Six Sigma training.
