Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the Life Sciences Resources Centre (LSRC) team for the Peninsula School of Medicine and Dentistry.


The role involves preparing rooms for teaching in the mornings, ensuring resources are set out across tables and IT equipment is switched on. Full training for the IT and wider role will be provided.


You will be expected to have good communication skills to engage well with academics, team members and students. Each day will be interesting and varied as you will deal with student queries, check stock levels and prepare registers.


We would like you to be adaptable, hardworking, able to prioritise work to meet deadlines as well as being physically able to move equipment.


This is a part-time position working 10.5 hours per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8.30am on a permanent basis, based in the Portland Square Building on the main University Campus. Term-time and flexible working options will be considered.
