DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: OPERATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT (OAM TEAM):
Managed Trading Services (MTS) is a holistic solution that enables Wagering Operators to future-proof their business by offering services such as risk management and advanced marketing tools. The Operational Account Management team performs an important role by acting as the main point of contact between our growing client base and Sportradar. Subsequently, we are currently looking to add an ITALIAN EXECUTIVE OPERATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER to manage our growing client base. The Executive (OAM) will provide personalised services to MTS clients and promptly escalate any relative queries or issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role of the Executive Operational Account Manager is to support the customers and bookmakers of Sportradar's Managed Trading Services (MTS) in achieving their target KPIs. The ideal candidate is someone with a sports trading or analytical background, with exceptional communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple internal departments. The position will be based full-time in our Gibraltar office and the candidate must be flexible to work weekends/nights/ bank holidays and to suit the needs of the business.
TASKS:
Assistance in setting up an optimised odds’ configuration, customised to suit the requirements of each Operator.
Ongoing trading discussions which include liability optimisation, player profiling, risk/trading strategies, competitor analysis.
Regular training delivered to the Operator for the purpose of optimizing the use of Sportradar Tools.
Evaluation of business strategy and advice to help succeed.
Ongoing support in monitoring Bookmaker KPIs (margin, rejection rate, tournament performance, etc.) and providing suggestions on achieving optimal results.
Escalate the Operator’s requirements to other SR departments and encourage the client to use new Sportradar functionalities.
Prepare reports and undertake administrative tasks as delegated by Senior Operational Account Managers.
Other duties as assigned.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
Previous experience with analytical/trading roles within the sports betting industry would be advantageous.
Flexible with work shifts. The successful candidate will be required to cover shifts during evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Proficient use of MS Office, especially MS Excel.
Fluent in English & Italian (both written and spoken)
Collaborative team player, ability to work well with others and have the confidence and integrity to earn internal team's confidence quickly.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities as well as product environments and ability to meet strict deadlines.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
Basics of SQL would be preferential but not essential.
