Job Title: Event Intern (3 positions available)

UKIIC Accelerator, a premier event management company specializing in unique event spaces, cross-border engagement, and comprehensive event solutions for clients from China and the UK, is seeking three enthusiastic and detail-oriented Event Interns to join our team in London's tech hub. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in event planning and management, working closely with our experienced Event Manager and administration team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Event Manager and administration team in planning, organizing, and executing events for clients from various sectors, including government and private companies
  • Support client communication and coordination, ensuring their event requirements are understood and met
  • Help with event logistics, such as venue setup, catering coordination, transportation, and audio-visual services
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure events run smoothly
  • Assist with on-site event management, including registration, guest assistance, and troubleshooting
  • Contribute to post-event evaluations and reports, identifying areas for improvement
  • Perform general administrative tasks as needed, such as data entry, filing, and maintaining event records

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a relevant degree program, such as event management, hospitality, or business administration
  • Strong interest in event planning and management, with a desire to learn and grow professionally in the field
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software is a plus
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus but not required
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours and travel as needed
