We are looking for experienced Care Assistants to cover flexible days in a beautiful home in Derby.

The care home houses up to 45 elderly service users who suffer with dementia.

Duties include:
– Following personal care plans
– Maintaining health and safety standards and complying with requirements of the home
– Toileting/strip washing and bed bathing the service users
– Assisting with morning and night-time routines
– Helping patients remain as independent as possible
– General Housekeeping
– Conducting moving and handling tasks including the use of hoists
– Being a companion and supportive influence to residents

Working Hours: Typical hours will be Long day: 08:00-20:00 Early 08:00-14:00 Late: 14:00-22:00 Night: 20:00-08:00

As an experienced Care Assistant, you will need:
– An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
– Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training
– A Referenceable work history
– At least 3 months experience within a similar setting

Due to the location of the service, it is recommended that you have access to your own transport.
