Job Description


Main Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Business to maximise profitability with the development and execution of tools to support pricing decisions. The role is expected to provide financial assessments and insights for all commercial proposals that are under consideration, to ensure our business offers competitive product and pricing propositions.

  • Margins - provide revenue analysis to support decisions on revenue growth.
  • Evaluate
    • Undertake key financial evaluation and investigation for new product and pricing proposals, including strategic projects and business cases
    • Understand the impact of changes to existing contractual terms and conditions and lead programme teams in ensuring such change is accounted for in priced proposals
    • Prepare the negotiation on contracts terms, scope and pricing, recognising the risk trade-off, working closely with the relevant Business Development Manager/ Finance Team and working within approvals
    • Engage with and support the legal review of contract terms and conditions
    • Support the wider Commercial team with higher value, complexity and strategically significant proposals and negotiations
  • Track key business metrics - Carry our post implementation reviews for pricing/project changes, investigating variances against expectations
  • Manage price approval process - Assist in the continued development and update of a dynamic pricing model, liaising closely with other departments
  • Review and Compliance - Identify and monitor emerging issues and trends – communicating effectively with affected teams

Qualifications


Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Strong project management and PMO skills to deliver and report on complex portfolio of cross-functional and global projects
  • Proven experience in or demonstrable understanding of pricing, profitability or billing initiatives
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills to socialise and organise data-driven activities and updates/reporting effectively and clearly
  • Self-starter with pro-activeness in improving the business and engaging Senior Leaders
  • Experience achieving results in complex, internationally distributed organization
  • Proficient user of Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel essential)
  • Experience and understanding of data analytics methodologies
  • PowerBI, Tableau or other data visualisation knowledge preferred
  • Able to collaborate with multiple virtual teams and stakeholders to gather inputs, requirements and delivery outcomes
  • Able to produce high quality work when under pressure
